Welcome to Prochorus Community Developments
Next to the oldest (1672) and world renowned student town in South Africa, Stellenbosch, you will find the vibrant community, Kayamandi.
You are invited to become part of a life changing experience in this very poor and disadvantaged community.
Over the last 10 years, Prochorus Community Development has been actively involved in Kayamandi -
- creating jobs,
- providing emergency relief,
- providing a safe home for street children,
- canvassing school fee support as well as
- providing counselling and support to HIV Aids patients.
We strive to involve people from affluent communities and churches to become role models in a community where many children grow up without ever knowing their biological parents by investing not only their money but also themselves.
